Is that an octave mandolin and is it damaged at the 2nd fret?

I think that's a pick at the second fret http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

just got the epi dot. havent had an electric in 7 years or so (gave my old strat ripoff away to a deserving rockin friend). I love it except for the intonation problem I'm having with the G string at the 2nd fret, but I'll get that taken care of. I havent even plugged it in yet, but it's a lot of fun.

the Yamaha is great. my wife brought that one to the deal, but I play it way more than she does now. very easy to play, and never a problem. I dont know much about guitars, but some friends that do say its nice too.

yes, that's a Trinity College TM-325. I love love love it. the OM is definitely the instrument that's "for me". like I found my true musical love, to put it in a cheesy way. maybe someday I'll upgrade to something cool like a Brian Dean, but right now I'm very content with it, especially after replacing the bridge.

and yeah, good call on the pick. 1.20mm to be precise. love those for the mandos but for some reason there's too much click on the guitars, so I go for good old fender heavys there.

and here's the real owner of the uke. someday I may string it up like a mando for him.
