Looks good Road Dog. What hardware are you going with? I need to touch base with Andy on my #16.

Lookin great Steve! Took #5 to a festival in TN this weekend and it attracted a lot of attention and curious questions from other mando players. What colors are you going to go with?

I'm going with Waverly tuners and James tailpiece. Color will be similar to the Poe F4 pictured on the Cafe.

Also, Andy has a new website:

Definitely sharp, Dean. I like the small fret markers. Did you go with a pickguard?

Hi Steve,

#14's looking great as well. Love the back.

I was torn between block inlays and the small dots (briefly considered no fretboard inlay), and decided to go subtle. No real 2nd thoughts, but #14 sure looks fine.

No pickguard for me. I can't remember if you were going with a pickguard.

I did decide to go with the pickguard, to go with the kind of vintage look. I'm curious to see how that pickguard will come out with a single color binding instead of the usual white/black/white.

The back of this mandolin is eye-popping. Looks like we're neck and neck, Barry. When's it due?

<span style='font-family:comic sans ms'><span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:navy'>Thanks Steve. The back just blows me away. I had high expectations, but I think they've been exceeded. And, these are just pictures!

Initially, Andy said it would ship out early this week - but now he's saying the week of the 27th.

Dean, Is nice to see the comparison between 14 and 15, she is a beaut! Andy won't ship it till he is satisfied, I know the anticipation is killer but you'll soon be pickin' away. Congratulations it's beautiful.
