Here's a picture of my 1983 Gilchrist. I know it looks rough but I assure you, this mandolin is loved! We've been together for 20 years and have made a lot of music together. I have a page on my band's website, lrband.com that goes into some detail about the mando, affectionately referred to as "Mr. Mando". As Bill Monroe would have said.."It's been a powerful mandolin down through the years".
