You may have seen this clip before but I've just come across it yesterday and really liked it. It features Jeff Midkiff and Chris Jones playing Sweet Georgia Brown. Jeff's got a lovely set up on the mandolin - which looks like an F4 Gibson. I've an old Gibson F2 (1914) but the instrument/set up wouldn't allow me to travel the fretboard like this guy (also my fingers too!) Hope ye like this clip.

I would like to be able to play like that. Can someone point me in a direction that would be a good start?

An F4 would have a oval hole, not f holes...either way he does have a little fun with it doesnt he!

We've been Jeff Midkiff fans since the git-go. Buy his CD. You won't be sorry. It is in our "desert island" group
