Jack's playing was limited by the fact that his right hand never knew what his left hands were doing.

Now, if my right hand could just keep up, I'd show Steffey and Thile how's it's done.

Wow! Even more impressive than the guitar player I saw playing with Rose Maddox one time. When they went on break I commented to him that his Telecaster appeared to have a 3/4 sized neck. He said, "Yeah, it does, because my fingers are short and then I've got more." He stuck out his left hand, and, sure enough, it had a thumb and 5 fingers. I watched more carefully after they started again, and he used them all, but 1, 2, and 5 were his "go-to" fingers.

"Now which arm is my watch on...?"
