Mark your calendars now, gang...if you go to, or WISH to go to the monthly "Bethany Jam" in Bethany, CT.. June 29th is a "Friday" as always, and the gathering begins around 7:30 p.m., and goes til the wee hours of the morning, with a Contra-dance (square dance if you will)during the event.
As usual, these are attended with fairly large numbers and a wide variety of instruments; from washboards to kazoos, and of course all the various Bluegrass and Celtic style instruments as well.
Do a Mapquest from where you are, to 312 Litchfield Turnpike in Bethany, CT for directions, and bring along a snack to share at the common table.
Be sure and put your e-mail address on the list in the kitchen, so that you can get these scheduled dates in your own "Inbox" for the next time.
Important: This particular date is also the wedding anniversary of our hosts, "Bill & Mickey" so please be sure to congratulate them, and thank them for opening up their home as they do, each month, for this event. I'm sure they'll appreciate both.
