Here are some others I finished this week. I should be able to get them all shipped off before our baby arrives in a few weeks and captures our full attention for a while! Thanks for looking.

Ryan's flat top: the first one I've built in fifteen years. It's really renewed my respect and interest in these little beasts.

Yep, it's a "Hendrix"-style one. Lefty body strung righty. Sharp eyes.

did you do anything with the bracing or is it just nut/Bridge/strings?

Once again your mandolins look fantastic. I love the diversity and quality of Andrew's work. Good luck for the arrival of the new baby.....CraIg.

Thanks folks! Jason, I used the standard bracing pattern on that one, since it's strung right-handed. On the lefty two-point I reversed the tonebars as well as the nut, fretboard, and bridge, although I'm not sure it actually makes a difference. I don't think the top really has a treble side and a bass side.

Andrew, once again add my name to the long list of folks that are truly impressed ,as usual ! I'm with Craig, stay diverse, i love seeing what you do ! I Was wondering if you kids had the baby yet, pretty soon your entire view on life will change, building will take a back seat to a joy like no other..... until the baby is #2 years 3 months and you start thinking "dang, i'd really like to get back to building" !! :O)

Congratulations on the mandolins, but more importantly on life !

Just arrived at the JazzMando Research Lab, a cool blonde two-point; staff assistants are clamoring over each other to get first crack:

I'm curious how functional is the strap button in that location.
Not to mention how she plays. No doubt a fine looker!!

James-- sounds good. We'll definitely be here. By the way, I enjoyed your article in the new AL.

Lee, that strap button location works pretty well for me, but I'm always curious to hear other opinions.
