Not exactly a Gibson but -- for a few hundred bucks and you can plug it in -- heck I'd keep in the back of my Jeep.

I can't claim any personal experience with them, but there is a lot of discussion about them over on the tenor guitar registry, as they are one of the only builders making tenors these days. The consensus seems to be that they are a good value for the price. I.e. decent playability and tone, but usually somewhat rough finish.
