Hey, just got these pictures from my buddy Peter (Known as Brier here on the Cafe) He lost access to his email account and forgot his password so he can't logon to cafe right now but wanted me to post these pictures for him.
Engleman spruce, Eastern Hard rock maple, varnish finish.

Peter really likes to get his scroll nice and tight. I thought he did a pretty good job on this one!

Looks like Curly Maple, au natural. The wave of the armrest shape and the flame are a cool effect.
