I recently took delivery of my second Silver Angel Distressed model. #I have owned the so called upper register of mandolins being built today. #But I thought it prudent to let everyone know just how good Ken's mandolins are. #The one I took delivery of is serial# 262 and the other mandolin of his I own is serial# 228. #Ken and Laura have become good friends over the past couple of years and their customer relations are top notch. #Without a doubt this number 262 is a KILLER!!! #Also, this photo does not do it justice.

Over the last 4-5 years, Ken and Laura have turned out nothing BUT top-notch mandolins for a very fair price! #Someday - like Doug Edwards - I'll probably have another new one built for me; likely a 2-pointer.

this one is old red spruce from an old building. I really like this wood, always produces the tone I like. Too bad there isn't an unlimited supply of it.
