I ordered the "O, Brother Where Art Thou" book for mandolin from Elderly the other day. I just wondered if anybody had it, did you like it, what to expect, etc.

Keep pickin'

Yes, I have it. I am a relatively new mandolin picker so maybe my opinion isn't worth much, but I do like it, haven't worked with it much but I think it was worth the 10 bucks or so that I paid for it. I ordered my copy from Elderly too. Let me know what your opinion is.

I had a copy for Christmas and it's pretty damn good, seems accurate and there are some nice renditions for the mandolin.

I just ordered it from www.sheetmusicplus.com a few days ago and haven't gotten it yet, but when it arrives and I mess around with it, I'll get back to ya.

OK, I got the book yesterday and I like it. I've been working on Down In The River To Pray and Big Rock Candy Mountain.
