Very cool Dan! Had no idea you were so young! Keep up the great work and great playing. I use Flexcut carving tools, give them a try they are made of high carbon spring steel and keep a great edge. Great sounding mando!

Very inspiring. For only being your 2nd mando, that green demon is awesome. I like the tiny fret markers and the little tweaks that give it a traditional shape with plenty of contemporary character, very unique. Most importantly, it sounds sweet.

Im not sure. I haven't had a chance to check that one out. I know Mike and Chris Thile play it on their Live Duets album. You can find it in Mel Bay's Mandolin Classics By Robert Bancalari.

Hello Dan, if ever you find some time to record the entire Bach Partita #2 in D minor, it would be fantastic hearing it on your green mandolin. I have just about memorised the piece, but I am still having some issues with the timing. Chris Thile has a version on YouTube, but he plays it at lightning speed.

Thanks for that Dan. I should replace the word 'timing' with 'dynamics' and/or 'emphasis'. Not reading notes, I am relying on tablature and on my ears. Dan be proud of what you are doing, the clip was great and you sounded great and I think all of us who play a mandolin should be proud that a new generation of young musicians are doing what you are doing good for you because Im proud of you dont let any thing keep you from your dreams the mandolin was not only beautyful but it sounded perfect .
