Making a dudenbostel

I know very little about Dudenbostel mandolins, but the other day my dad saw one being played so I decided to find him some more info. I came across this photo diary documenting two Dudenbostel mandolins being made (for Chris Thile & Gary Hedriks). I have to think this has been posted on the Cafe before, but I does not show up in a search and I figured people would enjoy seeing these pictures.

Mr. D also did a three-part series on mandolin building on the Do-It-Yourself Network on cable TV. It was pretty interesting, although it really wasn't a "how to do it" show. I think they re-run it occasionally.
