I see Music 123 is running a pretty good clearance on a lot of stuff, perhaps in relation to their buyout by MF.

I thought some of you might find this appealing:

I have no knowledge of the mando and certainly no financial interest, but it seemed that a solid-top mando for $50 could not be too bad a deal.

I missed that MF buyout. When did that happen??

I just ordered two of them, we'll see what happens. I figure I can do a set up and a couple of upgrades to have a camping mando and perhaps sell one at an upcoming BG festival to offset the costs.

Did you cross post in the Fullerton thread?

Here's a link about the M123 bankrupcy, etc. The Woodwind & The Brasswind is M123's parent, as Guitar Center is MF's:

Fullterton thread? #No, I didn't realize there was one. #Please post it there if you think the folks will find it of interest.

You folks who ordered it, please let me know what you think. #I'm rather fond of cheap instruments, and I would get one myself, but#I already have a <$50 mando (the laminate Rogue from MF...got it for $30, actually) and recently bought two <$50 guitars as well, and promised my wife no more cheap instruments for a while. #Figures I'd make that promise just before Music123 has a this big clearance.....
