Flatiron festival a 1987

How would I go about getting a decent ballpark appraisal on my mandolin? It is a Flatiron Festival A made in bozeman, black top,, everything like new except on tiny nick on the edge/ binding area ,, black and has been fixed. Back and side are beautiful wood , but Idont know what kind. I believe it was made in 1987, going from the serial # Any help appreciated,,,,Steve I will post pic later.

hard to say - 87 is the year they went to gibson. looking through the classifieds the the highest level a-5 (artists seem to bee 1750-2200). #there is an ad for a performer series at only 900. i think think the festival is a lower end model - probably somewhere between 900-1250 would be reasonable.
