Item #22492 in the used instrument category. Looks like a player, but i'd like to know what it is.

I think it is an early circa 1920s Harmony, but I don't have access to my reference materials.

Somewhat similar ones on this page (http://www.broadwaymusicco.com/Harmony5.htm).


Tom Flood does much work on these, replacing tops, backs and whatever and refinishing when needed. I have never seen his work in person but I think he takes basket cases and restores them to playing condition.

This one should probably just be called a "Flood" if only that much of the original is left. :-)


He did one in 2005 with a similar body shape that was thought to maybe be a Shutt. Tuners were definitely different, though.
