The guitarist for Split Lip Rayfield, Kirk Rundstrom, died this morning. Their music was hard to catagorize and definitely wasn't for everyone but featured Wayne Gottstine's breakneck speed mandolin prominently. Kirk was a great musician and one of the nicest persons I've met in the music business. He will be sorely missed.
