Hey everyone, Check out our new album here
http://cdbaby.com/cd/dappledgrays. #Once you are there, click on "play all songs Hi-Fi broadband" to get the best quality-you get the first 2 minutes of all the songs played back to back. Gives a good overview of the music.

I've posted some other albums here that I've recorded, last being the Andy Carlson band. #This is my favorite yet. #We had it mixed by Bill Wolf who did all the classic Tony Rice records. #My Favorite mando solo is on Red Rockin Chair. #Check it out and tell me what you think. The old DG album was mostly instrumental, this one is all vocal and a completely different direction. #Enjoy.

Michael

Mike- you rock. Red Rocking Chair was so tasty I needed a tooth pick. All the songs have great pickin on it, clean triplets to boot. The lead vocalist is not my cup of tea, but then again I listen to instrumentals all day.

Yeah!! Michael Smith is one amazing mando player! Thanks again for coming up to Denison for the little fest and pickin at Brews later. I think Hayes and I are going to try to work up some of the tunes off that great disc that everyone should get! Next time you come up, prepare to be blown away! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Mike,
Now that's just good stuff all around(Songs, arrangements, vocals, picking, tones, rec ording). I love Leah's voice( reminds me of a blend of Alison Krauss and Sara Watkins). That voice could sing me asleep every night!(she's a cutie too).Clicked on hi-fi but just getting partial songs, but that's ok as I'll be buying this one. As one of your new fans,I wish you all tons of success in every sence of the word, you deserve it with this music and talent ! Love your style too Mike it's very simular to mine. Ron
