Chris thile with a voight #1

Here is a picture of me (Dan Voight) getting #1 inspected by the amazing Chris Thile after his duet with Edggar Meyer (Holy SMOKES what a SHOW!). I'm glad he liked it. He mostly commented on my F holes and how he liked my frets. I'll post progress on #2 & #3 and Double Bass #1 soon!

Hey woodnbronze24, were you at the Midland, MI show? It was an amazing performance, no doubt. I didn't see Chris mingling with the audience - was it before or after? Congrats on the mando... Did you drag in a double bass for Edgar to inspect too?

When Chris played in Midland (MI), his hair looked like he stuck his finger in a light socket. Even Edgar was ribbing him about it. (I used to have that much hair) http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Chris Thile and his hair remind me of Antoine St.Xupere's Little Prince. Chris IS on a planet of his own. Quite charming I think.
