January 27, 2007 Arcadia, Indiana - An Indianapolis Colts player, national recording artists, and area radio personalities are among the celebrities joining the community of Arcadia in their fundraising efforts on behalf of Eric Taylor, a fifth grade student that was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in 2006.

A charity event, including a concert, raffle, and auction, will take place from 12p.m. to 10p.m. on Saturday, January 27th at Hamilton Heights Middle School in Arcadia, IN.

Eric Taylor, a student of Hamilton Heights Elementary that enjoys football, wrestling and other sports, began complaining to his parents of persistent back pain. Shortly thereafter, a biopsy revealed that the tumor found by physicians was an aggressive form of cancer that has since left this 11 year old boy in constant pain and without feeling in his legs.

The subsequent grim prognosis has been tough on this tight-knit and loving family, made even harder to bare in light of the fact that they are currently expecting a second child in February.

The charity auction will feature donated items, including Pacer's tickets, musical equipment, CDs, gift certificates, and merchandise from area businesses. All will be auctioned off by a national auction house in traditional style, and raffle tickets will be available for purchase on selected items, as well.
