Since finding this site...gosh golly there are so many things that have been added to my life repetoire. First I signed up for a workshop at Camp North for April and then just today I see the FolkJam.org that's been "advertised" on the site and had a look see.I Found out that there are jam sessions in St. John New Brunswick....well that was just wonderful. That's my home town. I can hardly wait till the spring when I can sit in on them. Surprisingly nothing in the Ottawa area where i "winter"....but then the east coast has all that celtic heritage and music is so much a part of peoples kitchens there. Im so looking forward to participating....even if it just means waiting for the "D" chord to come around again. Thanks again for this site, it's been a real gift. A whole new network is unfolding.

This is a very cool and useful site I hope people will explore. I'm actually providing some financial support for what they're doing with an ad on their site. They're local folks and I really like what they're doing. Plus, one of the developers is a mandolin player.

Based on couple of exchanges with them on another site, they seem to be extremely nice folks too.

That right there makes so much of what we have not done (family time, jams, reading, sleeping, going to the gym) to get this site built worth it. I'm really glad you took the time to post this today. Thanks.
