Here is some pictures of a mandolin I just finished up today. It was built for a friend of mine who is a rock guitarist turned aspiring mandolin player. He wanted a mandolin in the color GREEN!!!! So here it is! This one has a 14" scale and the top bracing is a hybrid X brace and tone bars. It's loud and the response is really nice. It will be at the NAMM show later this month on display at the Bad Cat Amps booth.

The Roman Numeral 7 on the back of the headstock was the only inlay requested.

Full front. The lighting on this one was hard to get right. Hope you like!!!

Looks like something I'd play on St. Patrick's Day! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Very cool, though I don't usually care for unusually colored instruments! Nice grain on that back! (I love beautiful grain, regardless of the color!)

As far as I'm concerned, that scroll is right on. Nice work.

I would like to take this moment to acknowledge Skip as the most positive, supportive person on the Cafe. He always has a good word to spend on these mandos, even if he's encouraging his competition! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I love reading it, so keep it up Skip!

I am usually not very fond of green mandolins (call me old fashioned, but I think mandolins should be [i]blue[i/] ;) but that is a great color choice, and I especially like the back -- nice work!
