Very nice. I was just playing my two-point and that bass is coming through in a magnificent way. It is such a different instrument than my Weber.

I love my Weber for it's power and its cutting highs and gradually developing bottom end. It's definitely a mandolin that's built for the long haul. The Pomeroy does not have the highs, but has a deep end that is just unbelievable, and it's brand new. I told someone the other day that it is like an oval hole with f-holes. It has that super-sonorous bottom end, and smooth, lilting highs.

Did I throw enough adjectives around there?

Make sure you post a review.

Rarely do I see a sunburst I really like, but this one is gorgeous. I'm a fan.

I just picked up the instrument on Friday. #First impressions are very good. #It has a dry woody tone and a nice balance across the strings. #Bell like highs. #The mandolin has a great chop and bark. #Pretty much everthing that you want. #The strings play loose so the setup is already to my liking. #If it sounds and plays this good right out of the box, what will it be like it a couple of years? #Can't wait for the Red Spruce top to really open up. #

Playability is great. #The radiused fretboard is somewhat new to me as I am used to playing flat boards. #It is very easy to chord and play up the neck. #I also went for a more C shaped neck which suits me best. #The mandolin has a James tailpiece and Waverly tuners. #

Don is great to work with and a fine builder. #I would recommend his instruments to anyone.
