I heard this song on the radio last evening,I had forgotten all about it, we used to play this anyone know who made up the band Livewire? and are there any recordings of them out there? Thanks Mark

Sorry found my answer already it was Scott Vestal, Ernie Sykes,Wayne Benson not sure of the guitar player,they did one recording named Wired Blaine Sprouse was guest fiddler,good band.

I believe the guitarist was Robert Hale who later went on to play with J D Crowe and is currently with the group Wildfire.

That band did one studio recording before calling it quits, maybe on Rounder Records even. It was a "loud" band, and Wayne was out there on it!
