Are the tuners on an Eastman A style (505) mandolin F style tuners? They look that way to me when looking at tuners. I am thinking of upgrading and changing to gold on my 505 (toss in a Cumberland Acoustic bridge with gold hardware an a Orrico bronze tailpiece and that thing should look sweet!) #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

PS: I should probably post this under Alan's Christmas wish list http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Sounds good. Those are F tuners on the Eastman A mandolins. I really like that headstock shape I would kinda like one on an f body. You probably will only get a tonal improvement from the bridge.
I like those Orrico tailpieces. Another curvy (non-trad) tailpiece design I personnaly like is John Hamlett's (Sunburst). Here is a link (http://www.hamlettinstruments.com/instrumentDetail.php?ID=4) to them.
