Hi folks, I just wanted to say howdy, and I cant wait to get good with my new mandolin. I have never played a stringed instrument before so this is all new to me. I have always wanted to play Bluegrass though. I cant wait to be able to jump in a jam session. Practice, practice, practice.

I'm new to mandoln too, and I think it is starting to make my fiddle a wee bit jealous. Truth be known, I'm basically too lazy to learn anything beyond the GDA&E string pattern.
