I am working on a S.S. Stewart Mandolin Banjo and need four "L" Bracket Shoes and a tuner ring gear and its screw. #The "L" Bracket shoes available from Stewart Mcdonald and others are too large. #It will not be difficult to replace the tuners, but I really need these four "L" Bracket shoes. #Any ideas?

I think you're going to have to be a lot more specific, including photos, about what you need for the shoe and particularly the missing tuner parts.

I have taken pictures that I hope will better explain what I need. As far as the shoe goes, I need four shoes, washers, and screws for attachment to the rim.

Here is the photo of the shoes at different angles.

Don't know where you're located, but I've been dealing with Stutzman's Guitar Center here in Rochester for 40+ years, and they have drawers full of old banjo parts taken off instruments that they've repaired, or purchased for their parts.

Here's there website, including e-mail links:

Stutzman's Home Page (http://www.stutzmansguitarcenter.com/)

They might be worth contacting.
