Klamath River MandoJam:

A Weekend Acoustic Music Camp and Jamming on the Klamath River in Northern California.

On June 24-27, Sandy Bar Ranch will host three days of acoustic workshops, jams and fun in the sun, with special guest Radim Zenkl, mandolin champion and recording artist. #Sandy Bar Ranch is located on the Klamath River, in the heart of the Klamath Mts. In Northern California, and offers access to swimming, biking, fishing, hiking, kayaking, rafting and many miles of wilderness trails. #Radim Zenkl plays and teaches a wide range of styles including Bluegrass, Swing, Flamenco, Celtic, Jazz and Eastern European. #All levels of players are welcome to come learn and play in a supportive environment. #All acoustic instruments are welcome, though instruction will be on the mandolin. #

Where: #Sandy Bar Ranch, Orleans, California

When: #Thursday evening, June 24 to Sunday June 27. #

Cost: #$175/person, includes hostel style lodging in cabins or camping, 1 meal/day (participants responsible for other meals) and all workshops and jam circles.

The Klamath River MandoJam will provide an opportunity for acoustic musicians of various levels and styles to come together in a beautiful mountain setting and supportive environment. #Sandy Bar Ranch is very excited to be hosting Radim Zenkl as our special guest for the weekend. #Radim will lead morning workshops each day, and the rest of the time will be open for jamming, informal workshops and rest and relaxation. #Participants are encouraged to come ready to share what they know about music and technique, learn from each other, swap tunes, and PLAY MUSIC!! #All acoustic string instruments are welcome, though instruction will be on the mandolin. #There will be plenty of opportunity to enjoy swimming, fishing, and hiking here on the river and in the nearby mountains. #

I'm wondering who else may/will be attending this workshop. From what I heard a couple of weeks ago, the student/instructor ratio will be great...
