finally finished.

This was one of those projects that seemed so simple. but wasn't.

first the loose neck was broken at the dovetail.
then the binding router pin fell out while diung the binding -- churning the ledge all up...
then I found out it was all plywood....
sanded the neck too thin...(will add some binding at a later date...

that orange stripper, just makes the finish a sticky goop.

decided to ressurect it and assemble and finish it this week. need to remake the bridge...but....

souds really good. I'm totally amazed.

beater plywood archtop $20.00
tools to do the job $ too much
my own mandocello priceless.

Wow! Very nice. Was that a guitar, or was it something else?

Maple fingerboard, or was that plywood too? I like it; especially the big fat dots. Kinda has an Ernie Ball Earthwood feel to it. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
