that has to be the worst wax museum i have ever seen!
I think they are going out of business becaise they can't pay the bills on the wax used to make the Dolly Parton likeness.
Based on the above pics/likenesses.., I would guess they are definitely NO competition for The Waxworks of London - wonder who their "sculptor" is - probaly "scab-labor"!!## = I'll never make it.. but I certainly would be "insulted" if I were "done' akin to THOSE likenesses... The wax figures of both Bill and Buck do look rather transgendered. Bill's also looks much like corpses look like when they're on display. I do not wish to be displayed when I die (unless they can make me look better!).

I can't believe someone is actually willing to pay a lot of money for all these. #i would buy them if they had a wick in their head and maybe throw them in an emergency kit in the house and use them as a candles during power outages... as least they would burn for a long time...

resident artist... heck i could take a rusty ice pick and make them look that good. if i ever saw these live i would still be going to therapy 2 or 3 times a week. maybe a nice fire would make them look ok... oh wait... that would destroy the original plate that was used in Loretta Lynn's Crisco Commercials. Anyone remember the old B-movie with Chuck Connors as the crazy roadside attraction owner who traps some teens passing through? I think it was called Tourist Trap, and it was chock full of figures that looked just like these. Pretty creepy stuff. I welcome an open discussion on this, but I'd ask everyone to please refrain from posting borrowed images from other web sites that have no relevance to a mandolin web site. Place a link to them instead.
We had a discussion on non-mandolin related images sometime back but it'd be worth reviewing the posting guidelines (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST&f=23&t=13100) again unless you're absolutely sure they are understood.

The article is good - sorry to hear that the Hank Williams Jr. Museum is closed. I saw "the car Hank died in" there, as well as Bocephus' combination gun rack/automatic bar, which every American home needs...
