Not really looking to compare it to the Pomeroy - I think they are truly different beasts.

Just looking for a cool sounding 2-point, not looking to spend a fortune. I play mostly old-time, waltzes, etc., no bluegrass. This one sounded like a good one without having to go into hock.

I hesitated about not purchasing a small luthier instrument, however I had a good deal of trouble finding a 2 point in the price range I was looking in. The Eastman seemed to fit the bill.

If it isn't what I was looking for, I can return it (which I would hate to have to do.)

No one out there has experience with an oval hole Eastman 2-point?
