Mass-produced low value, I'm afraid. Lignatone was a brand of Strunal, then and now one of the main suppliers of bargain-basement mandolins to the East European market. Roughly comparable to the Romanian mandolins made by Hora. OK for what they are, often made with solid wood, sometimes with quite a bit of rustic charm, but virtually no commercial value. Most of them are semi-roundbacks, what's called the "Portuguese" style even though it's a German design from the 1910s/1920s, i.e. flattops with a gently arched back with seven staves. Some are bowlbacks, some are two-piece flatbacks. There's one here (http://www.musicaviva.com/instruments/display.tpl?serienr=89). Strunal still exist and have a web site here (http://www.strunal.cz/products.htm), still with the same sort of mandolins that are instantly recognisable as Central/Eastern European.
