Matthew Allred

I was sorry to learn of the death of Matthew Allred, former mandolin player/tenor singer with the Country Gentleman. Matthew also played bass with Larry Stephenson, Jesse McReynolds, and others. A talented musician who was a heck of a nice guy, and left us too soon.

Rick is Matthew's uncle. Rick also played mando with the Country Gentlemen before Matthew did. I attended the visitation last night, lots of family, friends/musicians etc. I hope the family feels the love of all that will miss him.
