Is it new or used? (Just wondering.)

I don't know of any solidbody Samick electrics. The Samicks I'm familiar with are all acoustic/electrics.

Are you asking about a mandolin you have in hand? Or are you trying to find out whether Samick makes a solidbody?

Go to emando.com and search for "Galveston" or "Espanola." There are lots of Korean solidbodies similar to those being sold under dozens of brand names. The Espanolas were coming from Sungbo Industrial, but Samick may be exporting similar mandolins under different brand names. There are usually a half dozen of these on eBay at any given time.

Note: I have seen solidbody electric guitars from Samick, including a short-scale mini-Les Paul style that I thought about buying in order to make it into an electric Mandola, but never followed through on it. (Alas, my wife, the only known cure for MAS, intervened.)
