If this doesn't make your mouth water, leave this website and never return here again. I only hope it sounds half as good as it looks.

That's gorgeous, Andy does fantastic work. I'm saving up for a two-point model from him myself . . . these pictures just make me salivate.

I'm not a fan of bound sound holes or block inlay on a neck but wow if that one doesn't make for a fine exception to my silly rule. That looks fantasitic. Love the headstock shape/inlay and black tuner knobs. Very classy. What are the chances of your getting that stand too? It looks good enough to hold your beauty.

Wow, Andy has been a busy boy! That is one beautiful two point! I've had Poe #5 for about three weeks now and it sounds better and better everyday! I know you are excited, it won't be long now. Congratulations!

That is the VERY first bound F holes that I've ever "liked". The B/W binding definitely removes the "overpowering" impression I usually get with bound ones.

Ya know, I thought my new POE would lay to rest my MAS but I find I still want more! I don't think there is a cure for MAS! Would love to order one of those! But I like being married and if I was to divorce there would be no way I could afford anything new. Takes a lot to heat that old dog house! Which is where I would be sleeping.

Yes Andy is a true artist. With regrets I am selling one of his wonderful examples, and this post makes it even more difficult.

Thanks everybody, I can hardly wait to play it. Andy really does a nice job. He's also very nice to work with.

Yes those are waverly tuners, I'll include a picture.

As far as the finish, I'm not sure but I'll find out. We talked about so many options, But it turned out exactly how I wanted it to look.

That is one reacuring thing that I have heard over and over form Driftwood/Poe owners. "It was exactly what I was looking for." Andy has a gift for giving people what they want!

Sorry it took so long to give a report. Poe#4 arrived last Wed., and like having a new girl friend I can't keep my hands off of her. The fit and finish is perfect, and it plays "oh so nice". Like I said earlier it's every thing I wanted.

Congratulations! Welcome to the growing POE club. Have fun. I brought mine to work tonight and as soon as I get off here I'm going to give her about a 5 hour workout. Let us know how she opens up.

Nice 2pt.!!
Years ago I knew the fellow who gambled and bought Driftwood #2 off Ebay. He loved it. I wonder where that mandolin is now?
