Brand New Blonde

I've been very happily playing my new Collings MT for a couple of weeks now. I finally stopped long enough to shoot a couple of pictures of the thing. Thought I might post one or two. It's a basic MT, but with an Engelmann top. One little touch that tickles me is that blonde blaze right there in the middle of the headstock overlay. Cool!
Oh, and by the way - it sounds just killer! What a blast to play. Though I considered the purchase price very fair, I spent way more than I meant to on this instrument. So what else is new? After a couple of painful days of buyer's remorse, I became certain I did the right thing.

Very nice blonde MT you got there! To contrast this, please take a look at my brand new custom gloss black top MT. Note the thin white purfling that offsets the tortoise binding.

It sounds fabulous already!
