As soon as I sell an old car I have I am going to be getting a 2002 Master Model I thought I could help comfort my impatient nerves by seeing a few pics of some other Gibson Master Models.

Carleshicks, is your Fern a varnish model? I've compared my varnished Fern to a Master Model and I preferred the sound of the Fern. Maybe I wasn't using the best example of a Master Model for comparison.

No my fern is not a varnish fern. I also have compared a Varnish fern to a master model and came to the conlusion that both are fine instruments but that the master model is as close as I can get to a Loar.

Hester what year is that MM? It apears to be a 2001 but I am not sure.
