here are a few pics i took today in Will's shop when i was at his house for my weekly lesson, he is pretty busy and doesn't have time to get on the net to put any pics up. i took a few pics of two mando's he is currenlty building. he's just now getting his shop back up after his mover to TN and we are gonna try to get a website going. anyway it's a pretty good atmosphere to learn mandolin! will still has to buff and clean these mandolins among other things.

pardon the poor pics. i'll be updating these pics every week until it's done so i'll take my 35mm over instead of the point and shoot.

if you want to get in touch with Will, PM me for his info, what is on the buiders list is inaccurate.

feel free to leave feedback for him or any of you parson's owners feel free to post some pics of yours. thanks guys.

here is a headstock "tweak" or protoype on another mando that Will is working on, it slopes from the top of the peghead down to the front, he also changed some of the points and curls a little. he is almost done carving this one, i can't wait to see what it looks like completed.

Why can't I get my binding to look as perfect as that?

I like the prototype tweak on the headstock. If you have pictures of the rest of that mandolin please post them.

i think i took some more of those, he hasn't finished carving the neck on it yet so i didn't take too many of them, but i will try and get some up.

here are some more pics of the tweaked peghead..he still has a little carving and shaping up to do, but you can tell (i hope you can tell my pics aren't the best) what he's trying to do with it.

G. Fisher-
here is the front of the one w/the headstock (red spruce), it still has a little ways to go

here is my arm and the maple back http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif , you can see he is still finishing up on the carving, or as we call it here in Tennessee "whittlin", the neck

i told will he had a satisfied customer on the left coast. you almost never hear about him on here, i figured he be pretty popular after that mandolin builders summit, but i guess when there's no where to find your work or pics of your mandos that will happen.
