Time to start making 1/4 size mandos like they do with violins...get them pickin' early and enjoy every minute of it.

That looks like it may be a pre-war Martin. If that's the case, she's on a good track. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Good thing that guitar is already distressed! My 2 year old bit into my brand new Taylor and left two little teeth marks!

Something to cherish forever. I remember a friend of mine back in high school showed me the bite marks he'd made on the family piano when he was little. He'd gotten frustrated while practicing and bit the keyboard lid all up and down. I'm sure his mother was fit to be tied when it happened, but she still has the piano today, teeth marks and all. My friend has since passed away, but his mom will always have those little reminders. (Though I will confess I never let him play my violin http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif )

It'll stay forever. I still have that violin I was forced to learn to play at the age of 10. It has a scratched-in square root minus one. I did that when I was 16, demonstrating I was more into science than into music.

She isn't a lefty yet. I had to move it to the other side of her because she was trying to hit the one in the middle !! LOL !!

My Daughter, the mother of the one with the guitar above scratched the h*ll out of my Paganoni under similar circumstances at about that same age or a tad older.
