I was crusing the 'Net and came on this site for Ensemble Gabriele Leone (http://www.ensemble-gabriele-leone.org/egl/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=9&lang=fr). They have a nice history page. I will leave it to others to critique it as for accuracy.

BTW they have pictured a mandolino Milanese by Serafino Casini that looks to be very close to mine but 2 years older (1894).

Has anyone come across similar sites of interest?

Obvious is articles that appear on the Mandolin Cafe like Daniel Coolik's (http://www.mandolincafe.com/archives/article.html).

There are some select handful of articles on mandolin playing that appeared in te Etude at this site (http://www.icoldwell.com/robert/music/etude/etude.html).
