The story behind it, the mandolin belong to my stepdad's father. He(my stepdad) was born in 1933. His father passed the instrument on to him. My stepdad died in the 80s and I have had the instrument ever since. I need to know if this has any value and if so, how much. Any info on this would be good.

Thanks, Tricia

Does it have any more information on the label in addition to the name?
BTW you might ask the bowlback crowd in the Classical, Medieval, Renaissance section, although several of them take a look in this section on a regular basis.

There is no other information that I am aware of. #There is a paper label inside of the instrument that says Cortez, #190. #I can show you a picture of that if that helps. #Any information that you may provide will be very helpful.
