Yeah, Chris Thile is a tall hobbit apparently! (Some say he's a wizard, though...)

Whatever he is, I reckon Chris Thile stole the Ring of Power. How else could he have learned to play like that? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Then the ring will consume him then. #Lord "Big Mon" Sauron is pulling it back to him. #(and meanwhile, sMEagol wants its PRECIOUS.) gollum!

Christine, my band web site puts up photos so visitors can submit their captions for it. Mind if I use your Gollum creation?

John S, no I don't mind at all. Pm me your email and I'll send you the file, or you can just click and drag the image to your desktop (that works on mac anyway).

Never mind. It did work. I found the image. My computer has developed this anoying habit lately of putting things right on top of my hard drive icon. I guess I should clean up my desk top.

Andrew, we were talking about the image of gollum/thile you can right click on the image and drag it to your desktop if someonw wanted to use it for web purposes. In print however it wouldn' t look good cause ti's only 72dpi (for web only). I use it for a desktop picture sometimes but it wigs one of my co-workers out she doesn't know who Thile or gollum is so she just thinks I m demented
Just to clarify??? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Why am I feelin' old? Those Tolkien books were real popular when I was in high school. That was over #) years ago.
The movies didn,t do much for me, so I don't know much about the tunes or images.

well if they came out when you were in high school than you can't be old plus age is just a number anyway.
The tune is on Nickel creeks cd and it's awesome! Worth a listen or two
