Just got an email from Glen Phillips list...
July 13th is the release date of the long awaited, and I mean long, album from Nickel Creek and Glen Phillips! (formerly of Toad the Wet Sprocket) They will do a short tour to promote it, then Nickel Creek will do a fall tour I believe. Finally, after over two years! Two of my favorites together on an album! How cool!

We caught the Toad and Nickel concert last year in Santa Barbara, pretty cool stuff.
We also seen Nickel Creek last Friday at the Avalon in Hollywood, nice. Chris swapped out the dude for what looked like a octave mandolin with a oval hole for a few songs, hard to see from where we were to get a better id on it.

I'm soooo soooo excited about the MAS CD... FINALLY!!! My first Creek concert was on the tour with Glen, and they are just amazing together. May-Merle, July-MAS, August-Symposium...
