Ok, here are some pictures of the Allen mandolin I picked up on ebay a few weeks ago. The silly USPS left the mandolin in the truck over a three day weekend and I have trouble with the tuners...two of them were almost seized up in the 100+ heat (no telling how hot it was in the truck)...but I have Schallers on the way to replace them. The tone is really good. I do need to have one fret lowered as I get a buzz at one spot but other than that, this baby sounds great.

Your daughter looks like she's enjoying your new Allen! Is she interested in learning to play?
