Pictures in classifieds

For some reason my new computer with DSL access does not display the pictures in the classifieds. It shows the other pictures under different sections.
Does anybody have a way to fix this?

Our laptop and PC both can not see images in the classifeds. No problem in threads thou.

I had the exact same problem when I got a DSL connection, no images in the classifieds. I had been using IE, switched to Firefox, and the problem resolved itself. Never did bother to figure out what the issue with IE was, though.

If you're already using Firefox, I'm afraid I have no suggestions for you.

I get this report from time to time and it's usually associated with MacAfee virus protection. A board member shared the solution to that. Here it is:

For users with MacAfee who cannot view the photos in the classifieds section:
1. Open MacAfee Security Center
2. Click on "Privacy Service"
3. Click on "Configure Privacy Service Options"
4. Click on the "Options" tab on the left.
5. Click on the "Block Ads" tab on the top
6. Uncheck the "Block Ads on this computer" box

If you don't want to unblock all ads, you can configure McAfee Privacy Service to specificly permit the Mandolin Cafe address. That resolved my problem.

Thanks for the info. I had the same problem, although a few days I was allowed to see the pics for the first time since installing McAfee but the next day I couldn't see them anymore. But this was the fix...thanks
