i'm new here and new to mandolin. #i got this michael kelly for 2/3rds the original price and its only a year old. owner already played banjo and guitar and didn't have time to learn mando. i've played guitar for 4 years and will start taking lessons from Bob Westfall("Instructor Bob Westfall has performed with John Hartford, Lyle Lovett, Doc Watson, Dave Peters, Leo Kottke, Darol Anger, Mike Marshall, and Col. Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit. He was a winner at the Winfield National Flatpicking Championship and the Rocky Mountain Championship on Mandolin. Westfall is a multi- instrumentalist, recording artist, songwriter, and producer with 25 years teaching experience." #in the next few weeks. wish me luck http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Hey, I recognize that lefty! It was up against my lefty MK on *bay at the same time. If I remember you did get a nice deal on that mando! That case alone is $100 if you can find it. I got one at Elderly awhile back but the last time I checked they were on backorder. Enjoy...its a great trip you are on!
