I like the black one it has a repaired neck split and the other is sweet, also there seems to be little intrest in them and I'm just wondering and watching, the prices are rediculously low with only five hours left any thoughts http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

The A4 looks pretty sweet for the price, and "IF" the repair is proerly done, it could be alright. I just played one last Wedensday night at a gig ( 1922 Model A Gib. )and I was amazed at the ease of playability, and the S O U N D as compaired to my F's I normally play.......might be just worth while taking a better look for that kind of money.

At this price, you buy the tuners, pickguard and tailpiece cover and you get a 'teens mandolin for free.
The repaired heel crack is "small beer" .
If I didn't already have an A-4 with a repaired heal crack, I'd be tempted to put in a bid.
Or ... maybe I need a matched set.

Just got through checking them out before I read this post. It is tempting. My feeling is that the person who wins this auction will likely get a wonderful mandolin. I'm not in the market, but I should be !!!

Heck! 23 minutes left, and they already went over the amount I had entered for a snipe bid.

Somebody else sniped the black one for $1,325.00. I was hoping to get it for $1,150.00. Not a bad deal for the winning bidder.

Well, same guy sniped the other one for $1,700.
