She arrived Friday afternoon, and she's a beauty! It hasn't been really cold here but I let it sit for about 2 hours just to make sure. Man that might have been the longest two hours of my life! Took a trip to the local music store this morning, they don't have much, but I picked up a few picks and "Mandolin Primer For Beginners" by Bert Casey. I've been picking off and on all morning! I go until my fingers can't take it, take a break and then about 15 minutes later my heart can't stand seeing her sit in the case and I pick a little bit longer! Here are a few pictures, it's tricky trying not to get a serious glare.

Congratulations. That's a nice looking mandolin. Get a metronome! It'll help , alot! I'm so happy for you.
