What a nice update of the EM-200. I wonder what all the knobs do too. Volume I got. Tone I got. Is there a bridge pickup or something?

I would like that thing better in a four or five string model. I just don't personally like the sound that an eight string electric gives. If you want eight strings and plugged in sound just put a pickup on your mandolin but the four or five strings just have a totally different sound that I enjoy.

It looks very beautiful though and I wonder if it is made in another string configuration.

Picture is an EM-12, though. Off their website.

I have one of Doug's (Old Town) F5s. Real good mandolin.
