I own that wonder. It is an octave mandola as far as I can determine. Yes, I had posted it in the oddballs section. It was built in 1930 by Achilio Puccinelli, an Italian living in Chicago. I have one of his guitars and the only other instrument of his I have seen is a mandolin in a private collection.
